Celtic Myths

The fascinating cosmogony of the peoples of ancient northern Europe is condensed in Celtic myths , a collection of stories where nature and magic are deeply intertwined. Unlike other traditions, these stories stand out for their strong connection to the natural elements, bestowing a sacred character upon forests, springs, and hills.

Through their legends, we can analyze the hierarchy of their gods and the importance of the druids as guardians of knowledge. These stories not only explain the creation of the world but also explore concepts such as reincarnation and the existence of parallel worlds, which define Celtic spirituality and its cyclical view of time.

In this section of Uniproyecta, we delve into the main characteristics of their myths, comparing them with other mythologies such as Norse or Greek. You will find detailed examples of emblematic figures and the symbolic meanings behind their totems and runes, allowing you to better understand the cultural heritage that still endures in regions like Galicia or Ireland.
